Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with the members of the Council of Ministers visited Suando, the birthplace of Pandit Gopabandhu Dash.
Shri Majhi came to Suando after opening the four gates of Shree Jagannath Temple for devotees and devotees.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Kanaka Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister, Pravati Parida, MPs and MLAs were also present on the occasion.
In Suando, the Chief Minister Shri Majhi paid homage to Utkalmani Gopabandhu.
Members of the Council of Ministers and MPs along with the Chief Minister also paid floral tributes. Chief Minister Shri Majhi joined hands with the people of Suando and visited the village.
During his interaction with the villagers, he said that the promises made in the BJP Election Manifesto are the guarantees made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All this will be fulfilled soon, he assured.
He also said that the state government has been bringing in comprehensive farmers development policy within 100 days. This will take care of many problems of the farmers and these will be solved.
