While the Governing Bharatiya Janata Party has started hearing grievances to share the happiness and sorrows of the people and solve their problems, Minister Law, Works and Excise Prithiviraj Harichandan is taking lead in this regard..
The Grievance Redressal Cell was closed during the BJD Government, while Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has resumed hearing the grievances after taking oath as Chief Minister.
Similarly, Ministers were present in the state office and heard the complaints of the people.
Minister of Law, Works and Excise, Prithviraj Harichandan is leading from the front.
Shri Harichandan is seriously sorting out grievances and people are haapy with his disposal of cases.
In this regard, Law Minister Shri Harichandan said, after hearing the complaints of the people, the departmental officers have been instructed to investigate and take necessary steps. He said that people’s grievances will be resolved in phases.
Minister of Higher Education, Sports and Youth Affairs, Odia Literature and Culture, Suraj Suryavanshi, Minister Industry, Skill Development and Vocational Education Minister Sampad Swain attended grievance redressal meeting and listened to the complaints of the people.
Ministers have directed the departmental officers to resolve these complaints quickly.
Other Ministers also emphasized on speedy resolution of people’s grievances.
More than 150 complaints have been registered in the camp, among them many individual and group complaints.
In particular, hearing was held in the camp on issues of forced eviction, ration cards, housing, health, education, delay in release of allowances and other complaints.
General Public have appreciated the efforts of the BJP Government to solve the problem.
