New Delhi: Two books authored by Gurujee Chandra Bhanu Satpathy have been translated into Kannada and were officially released by him at an event hosted by the Sai Mangalam Foundation in Hosur recently.
The first book, titled ‘May I Answer’, is a compilation of spiritual questions posed to Dr. Satpathy by Sai devotees and spiritually inclined individuals from across the globe over the years.
Dr. Satpathy, known for his profound spiritual insights, has personally responded to these queries, which have been compiled into this enlightening book. The Kannada version is the latest addition to the collection, as the book has already been translated into 11 Indian languages.
The second book, New Findings on Shirdi Sai Baba, is the result of in-depth research that triangulates information from several primary sources to unveil previously unknown facts about Shirdi Sai Baba. The Kannada translation of this book was also unveiled at the event.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Satpathy emphasized the importance of the Guru in spiritual practice. “Guru is a theme. In the law of nature, both Guru and disciple (sishya) are important. The gotra lineage started from the Guru in India,” he remarked. Highlighting the qualities of saints, he added, “Saints are known for their kindness. Miracles are not a visiting card of a saint. The approach to love is simple—avoid the avoidable like ego and jealousy. Our aim is to create human beings, he said”
Dr. Satpathy also spoke about his popular book, Guru Bhagabat, which has gained immense popularity, even leading to the declaration of a day in its honor in the USA.
In addition to the book releases, Dr. Satpathy conducted the pratistha (consecration) of a Shiva Lingam at Hosur, which witnessed the presence of a large number of devotees. The event was marked by spiritual fervor and a deep sense of devotion among the attendees.
