Gurugram: Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy (referred to as Guruji by his followers), a renowned spiritual author and researcher, led a major cultural event at Sai Ka Aangan in Gurugram, Haryana, with the release of his new book and a digital music album.
The central focus of the ceremony was the release of ‘Shirdi Sai Baba: ek Prernadayak Jivan’ (Shirdi Sai Baba: An Inspirational Life) and the unveiling of the digital music album ‘Shri Sai Vandana’.
The book, which has an English version previously published by HarperCollins, represents the culmination of Guruji’s three decades of intensive research on the life and teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba. Adding to his creative output, the music album features songs personally written and composed by Dr. Satpathy.
The event, which commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, included devotional performances by the children of Sai Ka Aangan and a captivating classical dance set to Dr. Satpathy’s compositions.
In his address to the assembled devotees, Dr. Satpathy emphasized Shirdi Sai Baba’s philosophy of selfless service and compassion towards all devotees, and also used the occasion to explain the spiritual significance of the Dussehra festival. Highlighting his commitment to service, Guruji donated an ECG machine to Sai Ka Aangan, a center known for providing free medical assistance to those in need.
The ceremony saw attendance from a large number of devotees, including several senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers.
