New Delhi: The Temple of Maa Kheer Bhawani, a revered site dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kheer Bhawani, was inaugurated by Dr. C B Satpathyji on June 3, 2022, at Sai Ka Aangan in Gurgaon.
This significant event marked the establishment of a sacred space for worshippers and devotees of Maa Kheer Bhawani.
Following the temple’s inauguration, Sai Ka Aangan continued to uphold the religious traditions associated with the deity.
On June 14, 2024, the precincts of the Aangan hosted the Jeshtha Mela, a festival deeply rooted in cultural and spiritual significance.
The Jeshtha Mela, which is customarily celebrated in Kashmir, honors Maa Kheer Bhawani and attracts devotees from various regions.
This celebration at Sai Ka Aangan provided a platform for devotees to engage in rituals, prayers, and communal festivities, thus fostering a sense of spiritual unity and cultural continuity away from the deity’s traditional homeland.
