Gurujee Opens Srilanka Sai Temple

Colombo: In a grand spiritual event marked by devotion and reverence, Gurujee Chandrabhanu Satpathy inaugurated a newly constructed Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Elston Estate, Avissawella, Sri Lanka.

The temple, whose foundation was laid by Gurujee in 2018, witnessed the sacred Prana Pratishtha ceremony performed amid the chants of “Sainam” and “Sairam” by hundreds of devotees.

The revered spiritual leader, Dr. Satpathy who has founded over 300 temples and charitable centers worldwide, emphasized the simplicity of Shirdi Sai Baba’s teachings in his address. He highlighted that worshipping Sai Baba requires no elaborate rituals, mantras, or intermediaries.

“Anyone, regardless of caste, creed, or gender, has the right to offer prayers. Love is the simplest mantra for devotion,” he said.
Gurujee also stressed the importance of Guru Puja as an expression of devotion rather than a mere physical offering.

He affirmed that family life is the greatest form of service and that seeking God does not necessitate renouncing one’s home or responsibilities. Additionally, he urged devotees to respect all spiritual leaders and deities, fostering unity and harmony in their worship.

The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha, along with numerous devotees and community leaders. The temple, strategically located on the Colombo-Avissawella highway, is expected to become a significant center of spiritual solace and service for devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba in Sri Lanka.

The temple trustees provided a detailed account of Gurujee Dr. Satpathy’s spiritual journey spanning three decades, highlighting his unwavering commitment to spreading Sai Baba’s teachings across the world. With the inauguration of this temple, another milestone has been achieved in his mission of global spiritual awakening and service.
