Bellevue, USA: Shirdi Sai Dham Temple was the setting for a major spiritual event as Gurujee Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy presided over the Sai Sandhya Celebration.
The temple saw a massive turnout of devotees, including many from across the United States and India, who gathered for Gurujee’s darshan and discourse.
Dr. Satpathy delivered a profound address focusing on the essence of Guru Bhagabat. He stressed that simply chanting mantras is ineffective without a deep understanding of their meaning, guiding seekers toward true worship through awareness and introspection, rather than mere ritual.
His discourse explored the evolution of human devotion, noting that in times of crisis, every soul seeks comfort, whether from parents or ultimately, God. “We all look for someone kind and protective in our times of crisis,” he stated, equating divine compassion with parental love.
Gurujee elaborated on the ‘Black Cow Theory,’ contrasting ordinary human desires with the self-sacrifice of saints. He cited Lord Jesus Christ, Socrates, Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, and Shirdi Sai Baba as living examples of divine motherhood—figures who selflessly nurture and protect humanity.
He concluded this segment by affirming, “True love is not competition—it is sacrifice,” highlighting that the lives of saints embody this supreme love.
On this significant occasion, Gurujee also released his new Hindi book, ‘Shirdi Saibaba: Ek Preranadayee Jeevan,’ for the benefit of international devotees.
Gurujee received a grand welcome from the community, a reflection of their deep respect. He acknowledged and praised the tireless efforts of the devotees in establishing the Shirdi Sai Dham and their continued dedication to spreading Sai Baba’s universal message of love, compassion, and service.
