Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal has lauded Noted Scholar and Spiritual Thinker Chandra Bhanu Satpathy for his rich and noble teachings.
Governor Ganeshi Lal honored Dr. Satpathy for his exceptional contributions in authoring “Shri Guru Bhagwat.”
The Shirdi Sai Global Foundation hosted the event, named Shri Guru Bhagwat Utsav, at Ravindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, on 12 August here.
An ardent follower of Gurujee, Satyabrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary Revenue & Disaster Management and Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Twin City Police Commissioner Saumendra Kumar Priyadarshi graced the occasion.

The Governor presented Dr. Satpathy with a ‘Letter of Appreciation’, acknowledging his preaching and teachings on Shri Guru Bhagwat and its relevance in modern times.
The Governor further highlighted Dr. Satpathy’s widespread appreciation and adulation during his recent visit to the United States in July 2023.
Dr. Satpathy’s book, which has been published in over sixteen languages including Odia, has received significant recognition for its dedicated work in spreading the noble teachings to the world. Often compared to the enlightening and stimulating qualities of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Guru Bhagwat has garnered immense appreciation globally.
The celebration in Odisha honoring Shri Guru Bhagwat and Rev Gurujee Dr. Satpathy for their achievements in the United States is a matter of great pride for everyone involved. During the event, Dr. Satpathy spoke about the benefits of the holy book and its teachings for humanity, emphasizing its worth.
As a token of appreciation, Dr. Satpathy was presented with a turban, a photo of Lord Jagannath, and a citation from the Governor. The celebrations continued with various colorful programs, including an Odishi dance performance by Aahana and Aruna Mohanty’s troops, lighter discussion with Kuna Tripathi.
