Bhubaneswar: The Ekamra Haat, functioning under the Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, has provided a marketing platform to handicrafts artisans of Odisha for selling their products.
So far 62 artisans have made business worth over Rs 10 lakh.
Utkalika arranged 44 stalls for display and sale of products from dated November 2 to November 15 where 62 artisans from 18 districts showcased variety of crafts of Odisha such as pattachitra, applique, sabai grass products & horn crafts.
Visitors have the facility to see and buy different artistic as well as utility products directly from the producers.
Amlan, Kalabhoomi & Sambalpuri Vastralaya have their individual stalls at Ekamra Haat.
Moreover, facilities such as Conference Hall, ATM, and Parking space have been made available for convenience of visitors.
The Ekamra Haat opens from 10.00am to 9.00pm daily following Covid 19 protocols.
