Eco-Tourism Push For K’Para

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi today visited Kendrapara district, reviewing ongoing developmental works and announcing a slew of new initiatives aimed at bolstering the region’s economy, infrastructure, and eco-tourism.

The Chief Minister declared that the state government’s second year in power will kick off with the commencement of these developmental projects in Kendrapara.

During a comprehensive review meeting held at the Circuit House, attended by MLAs and administrative officers, Chief Minister Shri Majhi discussed plans for the expansion of mangrove forests in the Kendrapara region and the acceleration of eco-tourism in the renowned Bhitarkanika and Gahirmatha areas.

Several new projects are slated for inauguration in the district soon. Key discussions also revolved around the establishment of a medical college in Kendrapara, a long-standing demand of the locals, and the ambitious temple parikrama project for Mahaprabhu Shri Baladevjiu, a significant cultural and religious undertaking.

The Chief Minister’s review also highlighted the imminent focus on enhancing water resources and fostering industrial development within Kendrapara district, signaling a holistic approach to the region’s growth. These steps are expected to create new opportunities and improve the livelihoods of the local populace.
