New Delhi: Dr.Krishan Kumar has been appointed as Managing Director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
2002 Batch IAS, Dr.Kumar will be handling NHIDCL, which is a fully owned company of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India.

Known for his honesty and hardworking reputation, Dr.Kumar is the youngest Managing Director of NHIDCL, who will be implementing massive infrastructure projects across the country.
Dr.Kumar has long experience in handling mega infrastructure projects in Odisha as Secretary of the Department of Works.
As a Secretary Works he has landed several mega bridges, high level over bridges, tunnels and one of the most significant approach he takes safety measures as key element of the infrastructure projects.
With indepth knowledge on disaster management, Dr.Kumar will be eminently suitable for such projects, said a senior officer handling Border Roads.
