Bhadrakh: A seemingly trivial dispute over a mere Rs.2 has shockingly resulted in a firing incident in the Chandbali area of Bhadrak district. The incident, which occurred earlier today, has left locals in a state of shock and raised concerns about the escalation of minor disagreements into violent acts.

According to preliminary reports, the altercation began in local Nalagunda Square on the Chandbali-Bhadrak road when had a disagreement regarding a payment difference of just two rupees. What started as a verbal exchange quickly spiraled out of control.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the confrontation reportedly erupted when the shopkeeper, Satyaban Behera charged Rs.12 for a bottle of cold drink instead of the usual Rs.10, sparking anger among the group.

This led to a tense standoff, culminating in bullets were being fired. Fortunately, initial reports indicate that no one sustained any serious injuries from the gunshot. However, the situation created panic and fear in the vicinity.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police rushed to the scene to take control of the situation. Authorities are currently trying to ascertain the exact sequence of events, identify the individuals involved, and recover the firearm used in the incident.

“It’s unbelievable that something so small could lead to such violence,” said a local resident who wished to remain anonymous. “People are scared. This kind of thing doesn’t usually happen here.”
