Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi officially launched the Samarpan web portal and mobile application, introducing the highly anticipated Digital Hundi system for the historic Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri.
The high-profile inauguration event witnessed the presence of prominent political leaders and senior bureaucrats. Among the key dignitaries were Minister for Mines, Steel, Commerce and Transport Shri Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, Puri Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Dr. Sambit Patra, Puri District Planning Board Chairman and Satyabadi MLA Shri Om Prakash Mishra, and Pipili MLA Shri Ashrit Pattanayak.
Top state administrative officials including Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Shri Hemant Sharma, and the Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration Dr. Arabinda Padhee were also present. Representing the financial sector, Axis Bank State Head Shri Bhabani Dikshit along with other senior banking officials attended the ceremony, marking a collaborative success between sacred devotion and state-of-the-art fintech.

The system incorporates high-security encryption standards alongside secure QR codes and payment pathways. Devotees can easily utilize the temple’s official web spaces, designated ATM kiosks, and bank branches to safely channel their digital contributions.
