Bhubaneswar: Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha Nikunja Bihari Dhal has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. 1993 Batch IAS Shri Dhal will take new charge on 30 June, 2025.
At present 1989 Batch IAS Umang Narula is serving as Secretary Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. He is an IAS Officer of AGMUT Cadre.
Shri Narula will superannuate on 30 June, 2025.
Shri Dhal was appointed ACS to CM on 30 June.
Shri Dhal successfully served as Director to Cabinet Secretary, Joint Secretary in Ministry of Mines and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. So his experience in Central Government will be much helpful for him.
