Bhubaneswar:An Ace Tech-Savvy Mandarin, Vishal Kumar Dev has taken over as Principal Secretary Electronics & Information Technology Department on 12 July.
1996 Batch IAS, Shri Dev, a Post Graduate of University of Sussex, UK MBA from IIM, Lucknow and B.Tech from BHU takes charge of E&iT Department after the State Government appointed him on 10 July.
Shri Dev, an honest, hardworking and visionary bureaucrat served the State for last 27 years in various capacities.
He has served as Principal Secretary, Finance, Energy, Industries, Sports & Youth Services, Women & Child Development.
Earlier, Shri Dev has served Electronics and Information Technology Sector for more than 4 years as CEO Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC).
Shri Dev will serve as Chairman OCAC along with his present assignment.
In addition to his duties, Shri Dev has also taken charge of the Chairman, Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC).
