Decoding Karma

Bhubaneswar: Professor (Dr.) Kanhu Charan Patra, a former professor at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, has authored a new book, ‘Decoding Karma—From Birth to Rebirth,’ which attempts to answer fundamental philosophical questions about existence. The book was officially released on Tuesday by Professor (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak, Founder President of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University.

Dr.Patra’s work tackles the profound inquiries: “Who am I? Where have I come from? What happens to me after death?” He asserts that contemplating these questions can be a transformative experience.

The book, published by Gyanajuga Publications, centers on the concepts of karma and moksha (liberation), while also exploring a variety of related topics to add depth. Divided into four sections, the text is designed to guide readers in understanding the purpose of life and the actions they should take.

A distinguished group of academics and professionals attended the book release, including Professor Damodar Acharya, Chairman of SOA’s International Advisory Board; Professor (Dr.) Ashok Mahapatra, Principal Advisor (Health Sciences) at SOA; and Professor P.K. Patra, Pro-Vice Chancellor of SOA, among others.
