Bhubaneswar: Finally BJD Supremo Took the secision to allow BJD Veteran Debi Prasad Mishra to activate the Regional Party.
Accordingly the Principal Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today formed a Committee under the leadership of senior leader Debi Prasad Mishra for coordinating various activities of the party throughout the State.
Shri Mishra is having deep knowledge on the State and knows how to carry people with him and ignite the party in a crucial situation, pointed out a former Minister.
The 15-member panel has senior leaders and former ministers like Pramila Mallik, Bikram Keshari Arukha, Pratap Keshari Deb, Pradip Kumar Amat, Arun Kumar Sahoo, Aswini Kumar Patra, Pratap Jena, Sarada Prasad Nayak, Sudam Marndi and Snehangini Chhuria.
Manohar Randhari, Mahesh Sahoo and Debesh Acharya are the other members of the coordination committee.
Names of many senior leaders including former Organizational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das, General Secretary Manas Mangaraj, Sanjay Das Burma, and Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak are missing in the list after the party’s debacle in the recently concluded elections.
The principal opposition party has constituted the committee after senior tribal leader and ex-RS MP Mamata Mohanta shifted to BJP very smoothly without any indication within the party.
