CS Lauds SJTA Chief

Bhubaneswar: During All Secretaries meeting held on 15 April at Kharavel Bhavan, Chief Secretary Anu Garg lauded several departments and their leaders for their outstanding efforts and initiatives across various sectors.

Shrimati Garg extended recognition to the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA) Dr.Arabinda Kumar Padhee and all involved personnel for their successful execution of the inventory process for the Srimandir Ratna Bhandar.

In fact, Dr.Padhee, ACS Revenue & Disaster Management and SJTA Chief Administrator has been personally monitoring the entire process of inventory of Ratna Bhandar and this most sensitive assignment is moving smoothly, thanks to the Team SJTA efforts and blessings of Lord Jagannatha.

The Chief Secretary highlighted the exceptional performance of the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, specifically praising their efforts in the India Skills 2025-26 competition where Odisha achieved top honors.

Shrimati Garg further commended the Finance Department and the Information and Public Relations Department for their collaborative work on the “Aame Janiba Aama Budget” program, which focused on increasing public awareness and outreach regarding the state budget.

In the realm of administrative efficiency, the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration received praise for its role in the “Sadhana Saptaha” initiative on the iGOT Karmayogi Bharat platform. This program successfully increased officer and employee onboarding from 95 percent to 98 percent, significantly boosting the number of active users in the state.

Additionally, the Chief Secretary recognized the efforts of the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department and supporting departments for the successful statewide celebration of “Odia Pakshya”.

The meeting also reviewed major long-term infrastructure plans presented by the Works Department to improve the state’s road network and boost tourism, as well as innovative development steps presented by the Koraput District Collector
