Jeddah: Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Chandra Shekhar Kumar arrived here on 8 April to conduct a comprehensive review of the preparations underway for the upcoming Haj pilgrimage. Minority Affairs Joint Secretary CPS Bakshi is accompanying Dr.Kumar.

The high-level delegation’s visit underscores the Indian government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage experience for Indian Haj pilgrims. With the annual pilgrimage scheduled to commence in early June, this visit marks a crucial step in assessing the logistical arrangements and infrastructure being put in place.
