Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Home Affairs and Co-operation, Amit Shah has taken, numerous significant steps towards the empowerment of cooperative societies since the formation of the Ministry of Cooperation(MoC).
The MoC has been consistently working to bring these initiatives to the grassroots level and ensure that their benefits reach people from all walks of life.
Shri Shah launched three major initiatives out of the 10 initiatives taken by the Ministry of Cooperation in the first 100 days of the current central government’s third term on 19September, 2024.
A national-level review meeting is being organized on 30 September to ensure smooth implementation of these three initiatives in every village/panchayat across the country and starting the work at the grassroots level as soon as possible.
The meeting’s objective is to brainstorm on the successful implementation of the Ministry’s 100-day action plan.
A national review meeting on various initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Cooperation to strengthen the cooperative sector will be held with the states and union territories at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The meeting will be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, Manoj Ahuja, and Ashish Bhutani, Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India), will be present as the guest of honour.
