Bhubaneswar: As part of the ongoing Odisha UAE Investors Meet, Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi participated in a roundtable discussion with the Indian Business & Professional Group (IBPG).
The high-level interaction focused on boosting strategic ties between Odisha and the UAE by strengthening trade cooperation, facilitating the exchange of goods, and expanding export capabilities.
Key focus areas highlighted during the session included expanding trade opportunities in primary exports such as turmeric, ginger, seafood, and food processing.
The delegation also explored contract manufacturing prospects tailored for major UAE brands, alongside discussions on establishing pathways to deploy highly skilled professionals from Odisha to the UAE region.
Prominent Odisha-based companies already operating in the UAE market, including Ruchi, Farrm B, and B-one, actively contributed to the discussion.
The meeting was attended by IBPG President Shri Rajiv Shah alongside state delegates and business leadership. The dialogue forms part of a broader push to position Odisha as a global manufacturing and supply partner for the Gulf region.
