Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi extended his warm congratulations to Shri Ashiss Kumar Dash on being appointed as the CEO-Designate of Infosys. Commending his extraordinary career milestone, the Chief Minister noted that this remarkable achievement reflects Shri Dash’s outstanding leadership and professional excellence, while wishing him a successful and distinguished tenure ahead.
Infosys announced the appointment of Shri Ashiss Kumar Dash as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2027, when he will formally take over as Managing Director and CEO following the completion of current CEO Salil Parekh’s tenure. Until the leadership transition takes place, Shri Dash will serve as CEO-Designate while continuing to oversee key global operations.
A veteran leader with more than three decades at Infosys, Shri Dash has played a central role in driving enterprise digital transformation, client relationship management, and technology execution. Prior to his elevation, he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy, and Enterprise Sustainability. In this position, he managed large-scale global delivery organizations and guided Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients through technology modernizations and artificial intelligence initiatives.
Shri Dash is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. He further strengthened his management credentials by completing the Global Leadership Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Senior Executive Program at London Business School.
Throughout his career, Shri Dash has taken on significant governance and global advisory responsibilities. He sits on the boards of several Infosys subsidiaries, including Infosys Public Services, Simplus, Blue Acorn iCi, and Health Sigma. Additionally, he serves as a Trustee for Infosys Foundation USA and has represented the organization on global economic forums such as the World Economic Forum, the UN Global Investors for Sustainable Development Alliance, and the B20 Summit. His appointment highlights Infosys’s commitment to internal talent development and execution excellence as the company expands its focus on AI-led growth strategies.
