Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today officially started his work from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) located on the Third Floor of Lok Seva Bhawan or State Secretariat. He ordered all files will be done in ‘Odia’ language.
The Chief Minister has been serving from his temporary office at State Guest House as the renovation work was going on for his permanent office at the Secretariat.
Shri Majhi bowed down on his knees before entering Lok Seva Bhawan this morning.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, ACS to CM Nikunja Bihari Dhal and other senior officers and representatives from different government officers’ organizations welcomed the CM to the State Secretariat.
The CM then entered his office chamber amidst the chanting of Sanskrit slokas by priests. Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with several other Ministers, were present on the occasion.
The pictures of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are seen hanging on the wall of the Chief Minister’s chamber.
The Third Floor of the State Secretariat is considered as the most powerful corridor of the State.
