After talks between the CJP delegation and the government, during a joint press conference, with Union Ministers Shri Jitendra Singh and Shri JP Nadda, CJP ‘s Shri Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka,said, “The CJP declares that we withdraw the agitation in good faith and understanding that the agreed upon terms will be executed within the agreed upon timeline.
Speaking to the media, the spokespersons confirmed that the decision to end the demonstrations comes after positive assurances from the government regarding key student demands. The party leadership stated that written confirmations concerning the withdrawal of police cases against peaceful protesters and compensation provisions for affected candidates had cleared the path for a resolution.
The representatives highlighted that the primary objective of bringing systemic examination reforms to the forefront of national discourse had been achieved through democratic participation. They commended the student community and civil society organizations for maintaining solidarity throughout the movement.
With the formal announcement at the press meet, security forces at protest venues in the capital have begun de-escalation measures, and public transport services across affected regions are returning to normal operations.
