Bhubaneswar: Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Ramen Deka, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar on August 6, 2026.
This marked Governor Deka’s maiden visit to Odisha since assuming office as the Governor of Chhattisgarh in July 2024.
During the meeting, Shri Deka and Chief Minister Shri Majhi held wide-ranging discussions on mutual inter-state cooperation, regional development, and strengthening bilateral ties between neighboring Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
State officials described the maiden interaction as a warm and fruitful exchange aimed at fostering smooth coordination on shared inter-state affairs.
Upon his arrival at Lok Seva Bhawan, Governor Shri Deka was accorded a red carpet welcome by the Odisha Government. Shri Manoj Kumar Sahoo, Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, formally received the Governor on behalf of the State Administration.
