Bhubaneswar; Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) one of the leading universities of Odisha have been appreciated for its exceptional and continuous efforts during COVID-19 Pandemic.
Appreciation showered on CUTM at the Ceremony of Education Excellence Award 2021, which was organised by Zee Odisha Media recently.
Different educational institutes those who have contributed successfully in the upliftment of education during the Covid-19 Pandemic have been felicitated in this program.
The vice chancellor of Centurion University Prof Supriya Pattanayak joined the program as one of the experts on the topic “Career Counselling of Students during Covid-19 Pandemic”.
Prof Pattanayak participating in the panel discussion mentioned that the university has always strived its best to contribute skill education to its students.
In this Covid-19 pandemic also the skill university has adopted many easy technologies through which students can learn and trained trough the online and virtual platform.
Efforts have been made through which students can use easy methods to skilled themselves to compete in the future. She also added that the university always scan the market requirement.
During this pandemic how hands on skill is a major challenge she explained. Giving an example she said how paramedic students of Centurion are trained online and for practical exposure students were linked to different hospitals.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash appreciated the efforts of educationalist for their outstanding contribution during the pandemic.
