Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s (ICAI) Bhubaneswar Branch successfully organized the three-day long National CA Conference 2023 from 17-19 August here.
Union Minister Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman graced the National Meet as Chief Guest of the Ceremony.
Shrimati Sitharaman lauded the role of Chartered Accountants in turning India into a Financial super Power.
She said that CAs in India will be Global Leaders, if they adopt new technology and emerging practices across the world.
Union Minister Finance lauded the excellent arrangements done by the Bhubaneswar Branch of ICAI and termed it as “Splendid”.
Thanks to the sincere and professional approach of Eminent Chartered Accountant Rajib Sekhar Sahoo, who was the Chairman of the National CA Conference Organizing Committee.
Shri Sahoo, known for his sincere and meticulous approach organized a smooth National Meet with a professional approach, said a senior Member.
He also contributed Rs.10 Lakh for the Special Fund for promoting the cause of learning, research and development of Chartered Accountants.
Union Minister Education, Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the gathering with a request to the National Organization to provide handholding support to the Start Ups in the country.
The National CA Conference brought together around approximately 1,500 chartered accountants from various parts of the country, and abroad creating an engaging platform for knowledge sharing and professional development.

The Theme of this Conference was “Possibilities for CA Profession in Digital Era”.
The National Conference featured a diverse range of topics covering various aspects of the accounting and finance profession.
Issues including CA Profession-Changing Horizon, Professional Opportunities for Chartered Accountants, GST Issues, Information Technology-Emerging Technology in CA Profession, Indian Economy & Contribution of States, Recent Issues in Direct Tax and other issues, said he.
The National CA Conference 2023 organized by the ICAI Bhubaneswar Branch will served as a platform for professional growth, fostering knowledge exchange, and building a stronger community among chartered accountants, said sources.
