Bhubaneswar: Boudh district has been lauded for its exceptional performance in revenue services, receiving the prestigious Best District Award at the recent state-level revenue conference.
The coveted award was presented by the Deputy Chief Minister Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and the Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management, Shri Suresh Pujari in a ceremony attended by State-Level Meet of Revenue Administration Officers.
The recognition underscores Boudh’s commitment to efficiency and citizen-centric approaches in its Revenue Administration. District Collector Subrat Panda was at the forefront, leading Team Boudh with a “pro-people mindset” that significantly contributed to the district’s overall development and service delivery.
Under Collector Shri Panda’s leadership, Boudh district has implemented several initiatives aimed at streamlining revenue collection, improving land record management, and ensuring transparency in public services. “Providing services at door step” is one of the most popular efforts of District Magistrate Shri Panda and his dedicated Team Boudh, said Priyadarshi Rath, one of the senior most PRI Leaders in the district.
Shri Rath said Boudh District has been leading from the front while organizing Odia Fortnight, a massive cultural extravaganza to project Odia Asmita, which was lauded by cross section of people in the district.
The state-level revenue conference served as a platform to acknowledge districts that have excelled in various facets of revenue management, setting benchmarks for others to follow.
