BJP To Focus PWFY

Bhubaneswar: After getting land-slide victories in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the BJP has decided to implement a similar strategy to form a double-engine Sarkar in Odisha.

This was informed by Bhubaneswar MP and BJP national spokesperson Aparajita Sarangi here today. She said the party would focus on four sections of society, poor, women, farmers and youth (PWFY), she said.

Speaking to media persons here, Shrimati Sarangi said that the BJP would implement the governance model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Odisha for the development of four sections in the society.

The overall development of Odisha would be possible only by adopting the good governance model of Prime Minister Modi, she claimed.

Stating that the BJP party workers worked hard in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to ensure victory in Assembly polls, Sarangi said, “We have been asked to visit every household and work for their service.”

Making a similar statement, BJP Vice-President Baijayant Panda said, “We won in MP, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh because of the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his commands all over the country. In fact, he is the most popular among all leaders world-wide.”

And Odisha is no exception. PM Modi exerts a good amount of popularity on the people of Odisha from Kalahandi to Kendrapara and Malkangiri to Mayurbhanj. And Chhattisgarh’s win will definitely have a positive impact on Odisha, he claimed.

“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash is PM Modi’s slogan for India. We have won elections in the North-East where people were saying BJP can never win an election. Even in Chhattisgarh, where it was said that the BJP had no chance, we won an absolute majority. People of Odisha too will get the Modi model of governance after this election,” he added.

Meanwhile, BJP Chief Whip Mohan Majhi has informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Sambalpur to attend a programme on December 24. As per sources, the PM would inaugurate the new campus of IIM Sambalpur during his visit to western Odisha. Whether Modi will attend some other programme, it was not finalised yet, the source said.
