Bhubaneswar: The State BJP today released Odia version of Modi Ki Guarantee, party’s national manifesto for ensuing Lok Sabha elections and pledge card here.
Senior BJP leaders including election in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, State President Manmohan Samal, former Union Minister Jual Oram and former President Samir Mohanty here at party office.
Since independence, different governments have formed in India with many promises. However, they (former governments) failed to fulfill all the promises made in their election manifestos, Shri Mohanty said.
On the other hand, the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has kept 99 per cent of the promises including Abrogation of Article 370 and inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, he said.
The Modi government is totally dedicated to women, youths and farmers. The Modi government has realized all promises made in the poll manifesto in 2014 and 2019, Samal said.
The BJP will reach out to every household with the Odia version of the manifesto as it can be easily understandable for them, the state president said.
Centre’s free ration scheme will be extended by 5 years, 3 crore Lakhpati didi will be created, the PM Awas Yojana will be expanded and drinking water supply will be taken to every home, said Shri Tomar.
“If BJP will form a government in Odisha, we will implement all the promises made in the central manifesto in the state. The present government has not implemented the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in Odisha for which migrant workers are facing hardship,” the BJP leader said.
