BJP Celebrates Vijay Utsav

Bhubaneswar, May 4: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Odisha celebrated what they termed a historic victory in the assembly elections of West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. The state headquarters in Bhubaneswar became a center of celebration as party workers gathered to mark the success with fireworks, music, and the distribution of sweets and snacks.

Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi addressed the gathering, stating that this victory is a reflection of the party’s commitment to public service. He noted that the results show increasing public trust in the party’s policies and ideals. Majhi highlighted that voters in West Bengal chose development, while those in Assam favored stability and Puducherry sought change. He emphasized that this success should make the party more responsible rather than arrogant and urged workers to continue serving the people with humility.

State President and MP Shri Manmohan Samal also hailed the results as a reflection of faith in the leadership and pro-people policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He remarked that the victory in West Bengal marks the end of a long period of misrule and the beginning of a new era of development and fear-free governance. Samal described the win as a tribute to Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of the party’s ideology.

The Chief Minister and State President extended their congratulations to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, National President Shri Nitin Nabin, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, and all party workers and allies for the achievement.

Prominent leaders including Deputy Chief Minister Shri K.V. Singh Deo and several state ministers and MPs were present at the event to join the festivities.
