Bhadrakh: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, fresh from his success as a key strategist in the National Democratic Alliance’s handsome victory in the Bihar assembly elections, continued his tour of coastal Odisha with a visit to Bhadrakh district. Earlier he went to Puri to seek blessings of Lord Jagannath, Presiding Deity of Odisha.
The Union Minister was accorded a warm reception by party workers and supporters, reflecting his rising political stature following the decisive mandate in Bihar. Minister Sports & Youth Services, Shri Surjyabanshi Suraj is taking the lead in the District.
During his visit to Gohiratikiri in Dhamnagar, Shri Pradhan paid homage to the statue of Birbar Mukunda Dev, the last independent king of Odisha.
Addressing the local gathering, the Minister drew a parallel between the historical figure’s fight for unity and pride and the current vision for the state’s progress. He stated that Mukunda Dev’s sacrifice will forever be written in golden letters in the history of Odisha, urging the youth to remember the glorious past of the state as a source of inspiration for future development.
Shri Pradhan’s visit to his home state, his first since the Bihar results were declared, has been widely noted in political circles. As the BJP’s election in-charge for Bihar, he is credited with playing a crucial role in strengthening the party’s organisational structure, ensuring coordination among alliance partners, and spearheading a successful campaign strategy that led the NDA to secure a commanding majority.
The resounding win in Bihar is seen as a major endorsement of the central leadership’s policies and Shri Pradhan’s organizational acumen, further solidifying his position as a prominent national leader and an architect of electoral success.
