New Delhi: President of India Droupadi Murmu conferred Bhoomi Samman Award on Odisha in Vigyan Bhawan, as the Best State of India for her outstanding contribution in objectives of DILRMP.
The Odisha Team was represented by Satyabrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue & DM Department and other officers of Revenue & DM Department.
It is heartening to know that, in 6 components of DILRMP, out of 68 districts of the Country, 19 districts of Odisha have attained 100 percentage of objectives of DILRMP.
President of India also awarded Bhoomi Samman Award to 19 districts namely Angul,Boudh,Bargarh,Bhadrak, Deogarh, Dhenkanal,Gajapati,GanjamJagatsinghpur,Jajpur, Kendrapara Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Rayagada, Sambalpur.
The districts were represented by their concerned Collector/ADMs. Faggan Singh Kulaste, Minister of State, Steel & Rural Development and Ajay Tirkey, Secretary, DoLR attended the programme.
On direction of Hon’ble CM and by following 5T Mantra and tenets of “Mo Sarkar”, Odisha has been a pioneer state in digitization of land records and public services.Reduction of physical interface, thereby reducing intermediaries have been the motto of Revenue & DM Department.
All the 34 services of Revenue & DM Department can be applied, tracked and availed online. More than 13,000 cases have been heard and disposed through virtual court. 19 districts of Odisha have attained 100 percentage of its objectives in following components such as 1. Digitization of textual records 2. Digitization of spatial records 3. Integration of Textual & Spatial data 4. Computerization of DSR/SR offices 5.Integration of Tahasil and Registration Offices. 6. Construction of Modern Record Room.
Out of 68 districts, those have been awarded with BhoomiSamman, Odisha has the highest number of 19 districts. All the other districts have been directed to expedite 100 percentage attainments of DILRMP objectives by March, 2024.
Teamwork has been one of the cornerstone of 5T Framework. Feedback from people through “Mo Sarkar” and overwhelming participation of people in “Mo Sarkar” has been perpetuating good governance in the State.
