Balangir: In a heartfelt display of solidarity and concern, senior BJD lawmaker Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo has appealed to party leaders and workers in Balangir to gather for Akhanda Deepa and prayer session today, June 21, 2025, at 6 PM.
The prayers will be held at the Maa Samaleswari Temple, Balangir seeking a successful medical procedure and swift recovery for Shri Naveen Patnaik, the President of the Biju Janata Dal and Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Shri Patnaik is slated to undergo a medical procedure for Cervical Arthritis tomorrow in Mumbai.
Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo conveyed the appeal through a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, urging collective prayers for the well-being of the esteemed leader.
Earlier, the Singh Deo family, including Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, his wife Meghna Singh Deo, son Animaya Narayan Singh Deo, and daughter Amaira Singh Deo, visited Naveen Niwas to personally convey their well wishes.
