New Delhi: In a major leap forward for eastern India’s economic ecosystem, the grand edition of Odisha Food Pro 2026 concluded on a high note at Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi, marking the state’s first dedicated sector-focused investment roadshow hosted outside Odisha. Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed his satisfaction over the program scripting success.
Organised jointly by ASSOCHAM Delhi, ASSOCHAM Odisha, and the Government of Odisha, the event established Odisha as one of India’s premier destinations for agri-business and food processing investments.

Shri Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Odisha State Development Council, took the overdrive for conceptualizing and steering the event. Expressing satisfaction over the outcome, Shri Mohanty highlighted that the strong response from global and national investors reflects growing confidence in Odisha’s policy framework, strategic maritime connectivity, and robust raw material base.
The high-impact summit yielded investment proposals valued at Rs 43,437 crore, with the potential to generate over 43,000 employment opportunities across the state. The event witnessed the formal execution of 27 Memorandums of Understanding worth Rs 41,748 crore alongside 12 Investment Intent Forms totaling Rs 1,689 crore.

The event was led by Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Minister for Industries Shri Sampad Swain, Chief Secretary Shrimati Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary for Home, Industries, and I&PR Shri Hemant Sharma, and the senior leadership of Team Odisha.
Delivering a compelling vision to over 300 delegates and industry captains, Chief Minister Shri Majhi emphasized that food processing serves as a crucial bridge linking farm prosperity, rural empowerment, and sustainable industrial growth.

Chief Secretary Shrimati Garg’s gracious presence was highly assuring for the Investors and Captains of Industry. She took lot of interest in the ASSOCHAM supported show, which scripted success.
With seamless administrative support promised through transparent governance and expedited approvals, Team Odisha and ASSOCHAM have successfully laid a resilient foundation for transforming the state into a globally competitive food processing hub.
