Art Meet On Viksit Bharat

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Lalit Kala Academy organized the “Viksit Bharat” art workshop at the Kalinga Art Gallery on Tuesday, an event mandated by the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture.

Dr. Bijay Ketan Upadhyay, Secretary of the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, graced the occasion as Chief Guest for the “Developed India” art workshop.

Addressing the 117 participating artists, Secretary Dr.Upadhyay delivered an inspiring message, encouraging them to not only paint their vision of a Viksit Bharat on canvas but to also actively contribute to realizing this national aspiration.

Dr.Upadhyay emphasized the artists’ role in using their craft to build their ‘Dream India’ and urged the artists to actively contribute to the development of a developed country.

The art workshop successfully gathered 117 artists who captured their vision of a developed India. These paintings are currently featured in an exhibition at the Kalinga Art Gallery, which is open to the public until October 9.

Other notable attendees at the event included Smt. Debajani Bhuyan, Secretary of the Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi, and Shri Pritish Panda, Officer on Special Duty of the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department, alongside various other officers and employees.
