Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary, Manoj Ahuja Urged the Secretaries to gear up for implementing development programs in the state in an effective manner with Team Spirit.
Addressing preliminary meeting with the Secretaries of various departments at Lok Seba Bhawan here, the new CS made it clear that keeping in mind the Election Manifesto programs will be implemented in right spirit.
Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Anu Garg delivered the welcome address and highlighted the long administrative experience of the new Chief Secretary.
In the meeting, Chief Secretary Shri Ahuja said that the administrative system in Odisha has an excellent reputation.
He stressed on the need for implementation of various schemes and programs keeping in mind the election manifesto of the newly formed Government. He gave very constructive suggestions on how to make effective efforts for the implementation of all the schemes.
In the meeting, discussions were held on the presentation of the upcoming budget, good management of Puri Rath Jatra and related arrangements for the visit of the President of India.
The Chief Secretary stressed on the need for early completion of the work without delay, creativity, transparency and good governance in the work, if there are small problems in the implementation of the schemes and programs in the work of various departments.
Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Commissioners and Secretaries in charge of various departments discussed various schemes and programs with the Chief Secretary.
He stressed on the need for the Secretaries to innovate in various tasks, use of technology and accountability.
The new Chief Secretary Shri Ahuja sought the cooperation of all the Secretaries for smooth conduct of various works.
