Bhubaneswar: Veteran IAS Officer Manoj Ahuja has been appointed as Chief Secretary Odisha.
On his return to Parent Cadre on request of the Odisha Government, Shri Ahuja has been given the post of Head of State Bureaucracy.
General Administration & Public Grievance Department has brought out a notification in this regard on 28 June.
1990 Batch IAS Shri Ahuja was serving as Union Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare.
Shri Ahuja was serving in Union Government since 2017 and on request of the State Government, the Central Government has repatriated to the parent cadre.
While Shri Ahuja has been appointed as Chief Secretary, incumbent Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has been allowed to retire from Government Service.
