Bhubaneswar: In a bid to develop the health care service in the State further, the State government has appointed 5 new Advisors for various health schemes and medical colleges & hospitals for continuous development in the field.
Sanjay Sethi has been appointed Advisor to oversee and develop Capital Hospital while Puspanjali Rana, K Shanti and Ranjal Biswal have been appointed Advisor for the Biju Swasthy Kalyan Yojna (BSKY), MKCG Medical College & Hospital Berhampur and Niramay Yojana respectively.
Two Advisors have also been appointed for Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack—the most prominent health facility in the State.
They are Dillip Kumar Sahu and Swapnarani Patra.
According to an official release, these persons have expressed their willingness to provide services to the public on an honorary basis.
However, the State Government will reimburse their travel expenses and facilities under prescribed rules.
