Bhubaneswar: Rama Devi Women’s University in Bhubaneswar has officially announced the results of its annual undergraduate and postgraduate examinations, showcasing outstanding academic performances across multiple disciplines. In the undergraduate examinations, a total of 6,805 students appeared, with 6,021 successfully clearing the tests.
Adhyatma Nayak has emerged as the defining success story of Rama Devi Women’s University’s latest undergraduate examinations. Representing the Zoology department, Ms.Nayak secured an exceptional 9.64 Cumulative Grade Point Average, a score that elevated her to the single highest rank across the entire university.
Her achievement stands out prominently against a highly competitive landscape this year. Out of the 6,805 students who sat for the annual undergraduate tests, she led the cohort of 6,021 passing candidates, outscoring top departmental achievers in other streams including Education in Arts (9.46 CGPA) and Commerce (9.05 CGPA).
By securing the absolute first position, Ms.Nayak’s academic excellence has set a premier benchmark for her peers and brought distinct recognition to the university’s science faculty.
The university also recognized top achievers within specific academic streams. In the Arts stream, Smrutipragnya Jena of the Education department led her peers with a 9.46 CGPA, while Laxmipriya Das topped the Commerce stream by securing a 9.05 CGPA. Additionally, the university’s result sheets highlighted Srabani Ganguli and Priyanka Panda as the leading scorers in the Arts and Science streams respectively.
The postgraduate results reflected a similarly strong academic showing. Out of 706 candidates who took the examinations, 649 passed successfully, yielding a high overall pass percentage of 91.9 percent.
Lopita Mohapatra, a student in the Biotechnology department, emerged as the university topper for the postgraduate courses by earning a 9.62 CGPA. The Bachelor of Education program achieved a perfect milestone this year, with all 50 students who appeared for the examination passing successfully.
Following the release of the results, Vice-Chancellor Professor Jyotsna K.B. Rout extended her congratulations to all the successful candidates for their hard work and dedication.
She also expressed her gratitude to the Controller of Examinations, Dr. Anita Mekap, and the entire examination team for their efforts in ensuring the timely compilation and publication of the university results.
