Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party in-charge for Odisha and party National Vice President Shrimati D.Purandeswari stated that her primary focus would be on strengthening the party organization and ensuring seamless coordination between the state government and the party.
Upon their arrival, the leaders were accorded a grand welcome by state party leadership at the airport and were later felicitated at the party state headquarters.

The newly appointed co-in-charge and National Secretary Dr. Swadesh Singh attended the meeting.
As part of their visit, both leaders participated in the Angan Ki Utsav program held under the ongoing Seba Sankalp Abhiyan. Purandeswari visited an Anganwadi center in Ward 35 under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, where she commended workers for their dedication to child health, nutrition, and development. She also highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen Anganwadi centers and improve healthcare for children and expectant mothers. Meanwhile, Dr. Swadesh Singh attended a similar event at an Anganwadi center in Ward 40 of the municipal corporation.
Later in the day, a key meeting of state party office bearers, district presidents, and district in-charges was convened at the state headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Odisha BJP State President Shri Manmohan Samal in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi. State General Secretary Shri Biranchi Narayan Tripathy stated that discussions focused on organizational activities, future action plans, and strategic preparations for the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections.
The leadership also reviewed the progress of the month-long Seba Sankalp Abhiyan, which commenced on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on September 17 and will continue until October 17. Additionally, plans were finalized for the Seba Jyoti program, which will take place across all 30 districts of Odisha on October 7 to mark Prime Minister Modi completing 25 years in governance as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India. Arrangements are being made to ensure widespread public participation and to enable citizens across the state to listen to the Prime Minister’s virtual address.
