Cuttack: Ravenshaw Collegiate School in Cuttack came alive with warmth and nostalgia as the institution celebrated Laddu Diwas on August 31, a heartwarming tribute to the school’s enduring spirit and the cherished memories of its esteemed alumni.
The day centered around Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy, a former student whose deep connection to his roots and unwavering generosity served as the driving force behind this unique tradition.
Shri Satyabrata Sahu, Member of the Board of Revenue, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Shri Sahu, a devoted follower of Guruji, joined the school community in honoring a legacy built on affection, learning, and gratitude. Justice Shri Laxmikanta Mahapatra graced the occasion.

Renowned singers performed the official Laddu Diwas theme song, followed by an elegant Odissi dance performance set to a soulful prayer from the Shri Guru Bhagwat, leaving the audience spellbound.
During the event, the Headmistress felicitated Guruji Dr. Satpathy, expressing the school’s profound gratitude for his continuous support. She spoke emotionally of his pivotal role in guiding the school into the modern era, fondly recalling the inauguration of the smart classroom on August 10, 2023, made possible entirely through his generous contribution.
In a touching discourse, Guruji Dr. Satpathy shared his heart with the young minds in attendance.
