Bhubaneswar: Utkal University unveiled its revamped official website and a suite of digital service platforms, marking a significant step towards strengthening digital governance and enhancing user experience for students, parents, faculty, researchers, alumni, and the public.

The new digital ecosystem was formally unveiled by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda in the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, officers, and students. The upgraded platform includes Utkal Darpan (the University’s official website), e-Pratikaar (Student Grievance Management System), and e-Samikshya, a University dashboard built around the NAAC criteria to document and monitor the achievements of students, faculty, departments, and the administration in the University’s journey towards becoming a world-class institution.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda said the revamped digital platforms would help people across Odisha and the country know Utkal University better. He said the modern website would improve access to University information while enabling students to connect directly with the administration through a technology-enabled grievance redressal system, ensuring timely resolution of issues. He added that the initiative reflects the University’s commitment to transparency, digital innovation, and academic excellence.

Prof. Mrutyunjaya Panda, Professor-in-Charge, Computer Centre, said the University would continue strengthening its digital infrastructure to provide students, parents, and other stakeholders with easier access to admission details, faculty profiles, academic information, and other University services through a user-friendly platform. He added that the digital initiatives would continue to evolve in line with the University’s academic and administrative requirements.

The redesigned website and digital platforms were developed under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chandi Prasad Nanda and are being monitored by Prof. Mrutyunjaya Panda, with technical support from Mr. Sambit Kumar Panda, Scientist-F & Senior Director (IT), NIC OSC, Bhubaneswar. The NIC team assured its continued support in further strengthening and upgrading the University’s digital ecosystem.
