A major highlight of the meeting was Chief Minister Shri Majhi extending a formal, cordial invitation to Prime Minister Shri Modi to attend upcoming celebrations in Odisha.

The event, scheduled for next month, marks the second anniversary of the BJP government’s tenure in the state. The historic 2024 assembly elections saw the party form a government in Odisha for the first time, ending the 24-year governance of the BJD.

Chief Minister Shri Majhi, alongside BJP’s Odisha Chief, Shri Manmohan Samal, is currently in the national capital to personally invite central party leaders, Union Ministers, and other dignitaries to the milestone celebration.

While the state government plans to keep the anniversary events focused and impactful, the visit underlines a strong collaborative push between the Odisha state leadership and the Centre to drive long-term development.
