Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to boost industrial growth, Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister, Industries, Skill Development, and Technical Education, chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL).

Shri Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, played a central role in a high-level review meeting of the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited, which focused on translating investment intents into reality and accelerating project grounding across the state.

During the comprehensive session, the focus centered on evaluating the progress of ongoing industrial activities and organizing upcoming investment roadshows. The leadership emphasized the necessity for sectoral nodal officers to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, ensuring proactive support to facilitate smooth industrial operations and resolve operational bottlenecks efficiently.

The administrative roadmap highlighted significant advancements in improving the Ease of Doing Business frameworks, alongside the successful deployment of advanced digital interventions tailored to support industries. To anchor Odisha as a premier global investment destination, the strategy mandates the adoption of a structured framework centered on data-driven investor targeting, robust project monitoring executed through district-level agencies, and upcoming global outreach events.
