MNRE Boosts Use Of Hindi

New Delhi: The Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) held a crucial meeting today at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi. The session was presided over by the Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Shri Prahlad Joshi, who emphasized the importance of integrating the official language into the daily administrative fabric of the energy sector.

Shri Santosh Sarangi, Secretary of MNRE, coordinated the proceedings and outlined current efforts to enhance the use of Hindi across the ministry’s various divisions and the organizations under its administrative control. The meeting served as a platform for committee members to share a wide range of suggestions aimed at making official communication more accessible and effective through the use of Hindi.

Discussions focused on practical measures for increasing the volume of work conducted in the official language and ensuring that technical information regarding renewable energy is available to a broader audience. Shri Prahlad Joshi noted that the promotion of Hindi is not just a regulatory requirement but a means to connect more deeply with the citizens as the nation transitions toward green energy.

The members presented various ideas, including the regular organization of Hindi workshops, the publication of technical manuals in Hindi, and the recognition of staff members who demonstrate excellence in using the official language for official purposes. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to implementing these suggestions to ensure a progressive increase in the use of Hindi in all spheres of its operations.
