Puri: The sacred inventory of the Ratna Bhandar at the Shree Jagannatha Temple is set to resume under divine grace and strict adherence to state-approved guidelines.

Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA), has informed that the inventory process for the Mahaprabhu’s jewelry and precious ornaments will enter its next significant phase starting Wednesday, 8 April, 2026.

According to the schedule, the counting and documentation of the Lord’s celestial wealth will continue from April 8 to April 11. Following a brief pause, the process will resume on April 13 and continue through a final stretch from April 16 to April 18, 2026. This holy task follows the initial commencement of the inventory which began on March 25.

In a commitment to maintaining the spiritual sanctity of the temple, the SJTA has ensured that the daily secret rituals and “Niti” of the Holy Trinity will remain uninterrupted. Authorized Palia Sevayats will have unhindered access to the Jagamohana and the Sanctum Sanctorum to perform their hereditary services to the Lord.

However, to ensure the highest levels of security and focus during this historic inventory, certain adjustments have been made for the visiting devotees. On the specified dates, public darshan will be restricted at the “Bhitar Katha” (Inner Timber Bridge).

Devotees will be permitted to catch a glimpse of the Lord from the “Bahar Katha” (Outer Timber Bridge) area only.

Invoking the blessings of Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannatha, SJTA Chief, Dr. Padhee has sought the continued cooperation of all stakeholders and the devotee community to complete this monumental task with transparency and devotion.

The dates for the subsequent phases of the counting process will be announced following the completion of this scheduled period.
