Rajib Sahoo Retains ICC Chairmanship

Bhubaneswar: Shri Rajib Sekhar Sahoo has once again assumed the role of Chairman for the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Odisha State Council. This reappointment took place during the Annual General Meeting held on 21st January 2026 at Hotel Lemon Tree in Bhubaneswar. The event was particularly significant as the ICC, established in 1925, has officially entered its centenary year, marking a century of influence on the industrial development of India.

Shri Sahoo, an ace financial wizard and the Principal Partner of SRB Associates, brings a wealth of leadership experience to the council. His professional background includes serving as a Trustee of Paradip Port Trust and holding Directorships at Andhra Bank and Bank of Baroda. He has also held leadership roles within the insurance sector and maintains current associations with Indraprastha Gas Limited and Kalinga Hospital.

The leadership team for the Odisha State Council remains consistent, with Shri Dharmaditya Patnaik continuing as Senior Vice Chairman. Shri Patnaik is the Managing Director of ACE Commercial Company Pvt. Ltd. and manages a diverse business portfolio encompassing chemicals, finance, and resources. Joining him in leadership is Smt. Nilanjana Mukherjee, who remains the Vice Chair. Currently the Managing Director of Padmini Care Hospital, Smt. Mukherjee has over two decades of experience across the hospitality and healthcare industries, including tenures with the Taj Group and major hospital chains like Apollo and AMRI.

Throughout its 100-year history, the ICC has focused on boosting India’s economic competitiveness and fostering collaboration between industry and government. In Odisha, the Chamber has been vital in solving industry challenges and helping the state formulate effective policy strategies. The organization operates through various Business Expert Committees that target specific sectors such as Agriculture, Metals and Mining, MSMEs, and Healthcare. Additionally, the Indian National Women Entrepreneurs Council (INWEC) remains a core part of the Chamber’s mission to promote inclusive growth and female entrepreneurship.

The meeting saw participation from notable figures including the Former Chairman of the ICC Odisha State Council, Shri J. B. Pany, and Regional Head Shri J. P. Pal, along with other distinguished members who gathered to celebrate the Chamber’s milestone and plan for the year ahead.
