Bhubaneswar: The sacred atmosphere of Kasturba Nari Mahal Complex resonated with divine vibrations as the Shri Shri Shirdi Sai Charitable Trust organized a two-day spiritual congregation, Divyashis Diwas, to honor the grace of Shri Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and celebrate the 80th birth anniversary of his foremost apostle, Guruji Dr. Chandrabhanu Satapathy, whose life reflects the eternal grace of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba.

Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo has lauded the eternal teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and the tireless efforts of Guruji in spreading the message of Shraddha and Saburi.

The festivities commenced on December 24 at the Chetna Mentally Disabled Children’s Institution, where the air was thick with devotion. In a poignant tribute to Guruji’s lifelong mission of selfless service, the milestone was marked by the lighting of ceremonial candles and the cutting of a cake amidst the innocent smiles of the children.

BJD Rajya Sabha Member Munna Khan and State BJP Vice President Shri Golak Mohapatra joined the gathering, offering heartfelt prayers for Guruji’s longevity and reflecting on his monumental contributions to the global spiritual landscape. The guests personally served the children, embodying the Sai principle of seeing the Divine in every soul.

The spiritual fervor continued to flow on December 25 at the Kasturba Nari Mahal Complex in Bhubaneswar. The morning session saw a beautiful confluence of art and faith as students from across the city participated in drawing, music, and dance competitions, dedicating their talents to the glory of the Guru. Smt. Sulochana Das, Mayor of Bhubaneswar, along with Shri Golak Mohapatra and Additional Secretary, Department of works, Shrimati Renuprava Nayak, graced the dais to shower blessings upon the young participants, encouraging them to walk the path of righteousness and creative excellence.

The afternoon session reached a spiritual crescendo with the arrival of the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo. In a stirring address, he lauded the eternal teachings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and the tireless efforts of Guruji in spreading the message of Shraddha and Saburi.

He was joined by Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Shri Anant Narayan Jena, Shri Bijay Nayak, and Ward Member Asia Begum, who collectively honored the successful competitors with awards that symbolized more than just victory—they represented the flowering of devotion in the hearts of the youth.

Throughout the event, the presence of the Master was felt in every hymn and every gesture. Dr. Rudra Mohanty, Managing Trustee, opened the proceedings by highlighting the spiritual significance of Divyashis Diwas, while soulful melodies from the Culture Department of Odisha filled the hall like a prayer.

The seamless execution of this divine labor of love was made possible by the dedicated sewa of Shri Jnanavrat Mohanty, Professor Amitabh Sahu, Advocate Banamali Babu, Dr. Tuna Sahu, and a team of devoted artists including Shri Satya Shekhar Parida and Shri Ranjit Mohanty.

As the program concluded with the traditional felicitation of guests, the hearts of all present were filled with the serene light of Sai Baba’s blessings and the profound wisdom of Guruji.
