Odisha Pavilion Bags Gold

New Delhi: The Odisha Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, has been awarded the Gold Medal for its outstanding display.

The state’s exhibit was recognized for its comprehensive and creative representation, successfully embodying the Odia soul and showcasing a blend of rich cultural heritage and progressive development. The display was curated to reflect the national theme of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat’ while highlighting Odisha’s aspirations for a ‘Prosperous Odisha by 2036.’

A key highlight of the pavilion was the prominent role given to the state’s skilled artisans and products from various Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Their contributions of exquisite handlooms, unique handicrafts, and traditional art forms were instrumental in securing the top honour.

Officials expressed deep gratitude, stating that the award is a proud moment for the entire state and offers special recognition to the creative brains, artisans, and SHGs who brought the cultural magnificence of Odisha to the national capital. This is reportedly the fourth consecutive year that the Odisha Pavilion has clinched a top performance award at the IITF.
